I typically use 1 UCAN Energy packet 45 minutes before a 10K all the way to the 1/2 Marathon distance, which sufficiently gets me through all those races comfortably . As far as recovery, I enjoy the UCAN Energy + Protein Vanilla for sustained energy or a UCAN Hydrate packet after. The lemon lime UCAN Hydrate is my favorite flavor! 🙂
