2020 U.S. Olympic Marathon Trials Qualifier, Exercise Physiologist, 3X All American
Katie James is a 2020 Olympic Trials Qualifier who is originally from Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. She currently resides in Tucson Arizona where she works as an Exercise Physiologist at Tucson Medical Center and trains in the Sonoran Desert. Katie received her undergraduate and graduate degrees in Exercise Physiology from West Virginia University where she competed on both the Cross Country and Track teams. While at West Virginia, Katie was a 3X All American in Cross Country and was the Big 12 10K Champion. In her Marathon debut at the 2018 California International Marathon, Katie ran an Olympic Trials qualifying time of 2:34:39. She loves corny jokes and running with her dog, a Vizsla named Nora.
