I use UCAN energy before workouts lasting 60 minutes or more. I find two scoops from a tub last me about 2 hours, so I adjust up or down based on length of the workout. If I’m going longer than 3 hours during a run or bike, I will either take a second serving of UCAN in a bottle, or flask, or a UCAN bar to continue fueling myself. In my fluid bottles when going for long runs, or bikes, I mix UCAN Hydrate in my bottles for electrolyte replacement. When I finish my workout, I typically put UCAN Energy + Protein Cocoa in a blender and mix with Almond Milk, a banana, greek yogurt, flax seed and ice. I do occasionally snack on peanut butter bars as a healthy mid afternoon boost. Have to hide my bars so my whole family doesn’t eat them!
